Rainwater harvesting offers significant ecological and economic advantages to owners and operators of residential, commercial, industrial, and utility properties.
Currently, around 99% of daily potable water consumption is used to flush toilets, irrigate landscaping, wash cars and fill swimming pools, and with minimal effort and planning these uses can be offset or eliminated altogether by collecting, storing and using rainfall on site, while at the same time providing significant stormwater management benefits.
Presented by Denis Rochat of Rainwater Resources, this course will review the basics and benefits of rainwater harvesting, Investigate design considerations of successful systems, and explore residential and
commercial case studies.
